SOUTH GRANGE FARM
Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in Suffolk
WELCOME TO OUR HOME
Ancient farmhouse, once one of several granges attached to the Cistercian Abbey of Sibton, which housed farming lay brothers and retains its original moat. The site has a centuries old peaceful atmosphere. There are public footpaths well signed all around South Grange. The house nestles in a large natural garden, rich in wildlife, with terrace suitable for BBQs. Off a lightly used single-track lane, the farmyard provides ample off-road parking. Silence is broken only by birdsong and no street lighting can bring amazing night skies.
Set in Suffolk's truly beautiful world heritage coast area with unspoilt countryside and friendly roads, South Grange is in easy reach of Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Southwold, Walberswick, Orford & Snape and other historic towns and villages, including Woodbridge and Framlingham with its massive castle and vineyards. Lowestoft & Great Yarmouth can all be easily reached; Norwich, and the North Norfolk Coast are within a day trip. Dunwich Heath National Trust and RSPB Minsmere are close by for unrivalled bird and wildlife watching and great cakes. Trains at Darsham and Saxmundham.
